It just took Barcelona 3 minutes to shows that they are ready for the new season after Puyol headed the goal past the goalkeeper after Xavi corner kick. Real Sociedad didnt waited long to get their equalizer, to make it 2 goals in just 9 minutes.
Messi Magic
Just when the team needed a magic from Lionel Messi, he delivered. Scoring 2 quick goals to make it 3-1 for Barcelona. Pedro and Tello kept creating chances for Barcelona and finally Pedro scored another goal to make it 4-1.
Villa is Back
Our game continued with similar fashion after half-time. Real Sociedad were on their back foot and were defending for their lifes as they didnt wanted to give Barcelona another chance.
Iniesta came on for Fabregas and then Villa came on for Tello. Villa showed great speed and showed everyone that he is completely fit. Just few minute later, Iniesta connected well with Villa to grab another goal for Barcelona.
Barcelona did began their campaign in style. Everyone look refresh and are ready to fire. Our defending still need some work as we have 2 attacking full back, which gives opposition a lots of space. Our attacking is amazing and after we get our defense rectified, we will be unstoppable.

Lionel Messi wins the Pichichi and Golden Boot 2012 for scoring 50 league goals. He have set a new record both in Pichichi and Golden Boot award, beating Cristiano Ronaldo record of 41 goals in Pichichi he set last year and also beating Dudu Geogescu record of 47 goals in Golden Boot.
This is Lionel Messi second Pichichi Award, although he didnt score in his last league game, Ronaldo who had to score 6 goals to beat Lionel Messi, only manage to score 1 goal and remained 4 goals behind him.

It was a sad night for all Barca fans as they bid their farewell to Pep Guardiola for his last match at Camp Nou. Lionel Messi went on to make it a special night for him, right after scoring the first goal, which was an amazing freekick right over the head of the Espanyol defenders to the back of the net, he went and pointed at Guardiola to let him know that the goal was dedicated to him.

It didnt take much time for Messi to get his hat-trick and then we won yet another penalty as Busquets was taken down in the penalty area and Messi guided it past the goalkeeper to get his 4th goal of the night and scoring 50th league goal in a single season. He went on to hug Guardiola after his scored his 50th league goal and the team joined in.
Camp Nou were paid their homage to Pep Guardiola who have brought us so much success in just 4 years, winning 13 trophy and maybe 14 after our Cup Final against Bilbao.

Even when we lost few games, we never changed our style and we kept pushing and pushing, it was the only way the other team were able to win or draw against us.
