Platini – Messi deserves to win every individual award

UEFA president, Michel Platini, spoke to reporters in the Santiago Bernabeu, where he watched Real Madrid lose to AC Milan, praising Barcelona forward Messi as the best footballer at the moment and declaring he deserves all individual awards of the year including the prestigious Ballon d’Or award and the FIFA player of the year.

I should be diplomatic about what I say in the home of Real Madrid but the player that I like is an Argentine who plays for Barcelona.

I like Messi a lot and I believe he will win all the trophies for being the best player by the end of the year.

Messi has had a fantastic year, like Cristiano Ronaldo had last year, and I think this deserves to be recognised.

Messi have already won UEFA Football Player of the year award, most of the awards are already in his bags. So its anyways just a formality now
