Magical two goals from Lionel Messi

Barcelona won the match tonight against Deportivo and it was all because of our superb Lionel Messi. He scored two important goals for Barcelona and Ibrahimovic securing the victory for Barcelona but it was Lionel Messi who was the star tonight.

After looking at past poor performance at Raizor, Pep Guardiola made it sure that his best squad was on the field. Barcelona showed an excellent game last night with Lionel Messi, Iniesta and Xavi controlling the game and when you have these three players playing good then you can only have one great result :)

Messi first goal arrived in superb manner with Barca charges towards goals and Ibrahimovic shot rebounded of the defender and went towards Dani Alves who again charged towards the goal and gave a superb pass from Lionel Messi but it was Leo who took the ball and BOOM!!!! It was simple an amazing unstoppable shot which went to the bottom right corner, I was really happy to see Leo getting on the scorecard as I hoped in last post to see Messi getting on scorecard and he did :)

Barcelona looked dangerous and it was Lionel Messi was continuously threatening Deportivo defenders but some brilliant save from the goalkeeper saved the day for Deportivo and Aranzubia, the goalkeeper was the one who actually scored the goal for Deportivo if the header don’t count after a long goal kick which landed on Busquet head which went towards Deportivo striker who headed past Valdes. Valdes had an amazing night but that was a shot which he could have stop and he couldnt stop but instead could see Zamora award going away :P and anyways he is still No.1 in Zamora award :D . But there was still chance for getting the lead after Lionel Messi giving a superb pass to Ibrahimovic which he could have score but Aranzubia had another idea and saved it superbly.

Second half also started in similar fashion with Barcelona controlling the possession but only with less chances as they created in the first half. Deportivo were not allowing Barcelona to take any chance of scoring the goal, but on 79th minute of the game Barcelona pressured Deportivo and Pedro chipped the ball towards Messi and he headed the goal past the goalkeeper to give Barcelona the lead.

Barcelona did got their heart in hand when Guardado wasn’t able to find Bodipo who was cleared and unmarked and could have given the home ground something to celebrate, but even though after the almost heart attack which I had, any Barca fan would have had, Barcelona looked strong and Leo getting superb opportunity to get his hatrick but the goalkeeper kept denying it.

The last goal from Ibrahimovic settled Barcelona down after a brilliant ball from Abidal and then there was nothing to play for as time was almost over and Barcelona was able to secure the important three points.
